Team Japan shows great performance in Prague
021 is a very special year. Not only does the Corona pandemic continue to take everyone's breath away, but the Olympic Games have been postponed from 2020 to 2021.
The venue this year is Japan, Tokyo to be precise.
The Japanese team has already attracted attention for several years again and again with great positive results. Also this year riders of the Japanese association could establish themselves already on the front places of large prices. Among other things, at Horses and Dreams meets Japan or also recently at the CSIO3* in Prague.
For several years the Japanese team has already been coached by Paul Schockemöhle. Basically, all horses of the Japan Equestrian Federation belong together with Paul Schockemöhle.
Eiken Sato was able to score with great rounds several times during the weekend. He and his OS gelding Calouso were able to win the main jumping competition in Prague on Saturday. Already a small wink in the direction of Tokyo.
But Eiken Sato already has some Olympic experience. Among other things, he could already participate in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
Sato comes from a Japanese equestrian family. His brother Kenki, who competes in eventing, was also able to take part in the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
So it remains exciting how the Japanese team will show itself at the Olympic Games.
