Stallion performance test: best result for "Von und Zu"

Schlieckau (fn-press). The last 50-day stallion performance test in Schlieckau ended with a top result. 15 of 30 young stallions finished their test with a more than good final result. The weighted final score for the Celle state stud stallion Von und Zu was even very good.


Ready to perform, strong in movement and rideable: Von und Zu (by Vitalis - Floriscount), Hanoverian premium stallion of the 2019 licensing, received an even 10 from the two outside riders in the 50-day stallion performance test. The evaluation committee also particularly liked the stallion's trot, for which they awarded a 9.5, as well as for willingness to perform and perspective. The Hanoverian stallion was bred by Christa and Ludger Welling from Wietmarschen and is stationed at the State Stud in Celle.


The black stallion Santos (by Secret - Don Schufro), bred by Kai Johansen from Hechthausen, achieved the second-best score of 8.74 by some distance. The stallion, who has three good gaits (trot and walk 8.5, canter 9.0), was also judged by the evaluation committee and other riders to have a high rideability (9.25) and a very good outlook (9.0). Santos was registered by the Pape stallion station in Hemmoor.


The Sezuan son Sky from Gestüt Schönweide in Grebin came third with a final score of 8.62. The Hanoverian dark chestnut's strengths were also rideability (9.75 from the outside riders) as well as willingness to perform and canter (9.0 each). The commission also rated Sky's behavior at the jump as "very good". The stallion was bred Sandra Grede - Neff Stud in Frankenberg/Geismar - out of a Sir Donnerhall dam.
