Results of the sport test in Verden
Breeding fans from all over the country are looking with great excitement at the results of the sport tests of the young stallions.
Many of the later top stallions were already able to convince and attract attention with their solid performances at their own sport test.
Also this year there were some interesting results and stallions, which could convince with solid performances.
A total of 30 stallions finished the sport test of the jumping division. Diamant de Casall and Cero Blue TN were among the absolute highlights of this group.
The five and six year old stallions faced the examination commission in Verden. One in particular stood out: "Diamant de Casall". Already his pedigree makes breeders go into raptures. His father is the famous Diamant de Semilly. His dam is a direct full sister to the famous Casall, who became World Cup winner with Rolf Göran Bengtsson.
The talent of this stallion did not go unnoticed by the commission.
For the jumping ability there was a smooth 9. Also his great canter was rewarded with an 8.8. This was complemented entirely by an 8.5 for rideability. So in the end it was an 8.7 for Diamant de Casall's overall impression.
The stallion was bred by Manfred von Allwörden. He was registered by Lutz Gripshöver. He is currently available through the Ligges stallion station.
Second place was also taken by a stallion with tremendous ability. One was the French-bred six-year-old Classico TN. He was entered by Team Nijhof. He is by Cornet Obolensky out of a Burggraf dam. He also received a 9.0 for his ability and an 8.7 for his manner.
In the four-year-old stallions, a stallion with a famous dam line was right up front. Cero Blue TN is descended from Chacoon Blue. His dam is "The Cera." She in turn descends from Balout du Rouet. She is a daughter of the Derby winner Zera and great-granddaughter of the legendary Fein Cera, who will surely be known by many under her rider Peter Wylde. At the time, she was a finalist at the 2002 World Championships and a team Olympic champion with the American.
He was also shown by Team Nijhof and also got a 9.0 on his ability.
So it remains interesting how the stallions will develop!
