Warendorf (fn-press). The FN Rankings 2021 are here - with Michael Jung as the undisputed number one in eventing and an Isabell Werth returning to the top in dressage. On the other hand, David Will is at the top of the national ranking list for the first time. He collected the most ranking points in show jumping in the crediting center - October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021.

A total of 166,013 points go to the account of 33-year-old show jumper David Will, who competed for Germany in a championship for the first time this year and won the silver medal at the European Championships in Riesenbeck with the German team in the saddle of C-Four. With his score, the Bavarian-born rider made up five places compared to 2020 and thus not only relegated last year's first-placed rider Marcus Ehning from Borken (165.954 points), but also the leader of the world ranking list for months, this year's Aachen winner and Olympic rider Daniel Deußer (158.797 points). European Champion André Thieme from Plau am See also moved up in the rankings. With 134,635 points, he ranks fourth this year. Richard Vogel, who runs a competition and training stable together with David Will at Hofgut Dagobertshausen near Marburg, can also look back on a successful 2021 season. Still ninth last year, he occupies fifth place on the current ranking list with 130,671 points.

In dressage, Isabell Werth (Rheinberg) was once again able to maintain the top position and thus her reputation as the German dressage queen. Even if the sum of her ranking points - 131,515 - has not yet reached the pre-Corona level again: No one came close to her score in 2021. Not even the double Olympic champion and three-time European champion Jessica von Bredow-Werndl (Aubenhausen). She ranks second with 129,332 points, followed by last year's first-place finisher Dorothee Schneider (Framersheim) with 98,530 points, who had to take several weeks off in the spring due to injury. Lena Waldmann moved up one place, not least thanks to numerous Grand Prix successes with the stallions of the Bonhomme Stud in Werder. With a score of 70,082, she takes fourth place. Following at a great distance in fifth place is one of the most successful riders in the Bonn Rhein-Sieg District Equestrian Sports Association, Lukas Blatzheim from the Haus Rott equestrian center in Troisdorf. 49.638 points helped him to fifth place, putting him ahead of European Team Champion Helen Lagehanenberg (Havixbeck), who took sixth place with 43.588.

The new and old number one on the eventing ranking list is Michael Jung (Horb). The three-time Olympic gold medalist also leads the rankings by a clear margin in 2021. He collected 42,006 points - almost three times as many as in 2020 - in the crediting period. In second place with 32,206 points is Olympic champion Julia Krajewski (Warendorf), seventh last year, ahead of Ingrid Klimke. Despite a lengthy injury break in the summer, the riding champion from Münster is in third place with 21,575 points, followed by Sandra Auffarth (Ganderkesee) with 20,470 points. The former world champion is followed by the two team vice European champions from 2021, Andreas Dibowski from Döhle (17,214 points) and Anna Siemer from Salzhausen (13,882 points). Finally, European Championship individual rider Christoph Wahler from Bad Bevensen was also able to collect points in five figures. He finished seventh with 10,947 points.
