Sandra Nuxoll was born in Austria. Despite her marriage to the German Norbert Nuxoll and her many years of professional activity in the Federal Republic, she has always remained true to her homeland.

But now Sandra Nuxoll will go new ways!

The dressage portal eurodressage was the first to announce that Nuxoll will compete for Germany in the future. Nuxoll is quoted that the bureaucratic hurdles that had been put in her way by the Austrian side would have been too high. Therefore, the decision followed now for Germany to go to the start.

Born in Vorarlberg, she was initially based near Munich for a few years. In 2014, Sandra Kopf, as the Austrian goes by her maiden name, married the jumping coach Norbert Nuxoll.

Since her time in Germany, Nuxoll has already made a name for herself as a trainer of young horses. Among others, she brought Delaunay OLD (Patrik Kittel) or also Stand by Me by Lisa Müller into the sport.

Nuxoll herself has also been able to celebrate some successes in the big sport. Among other things, she has already won the Louisdor Prize with the eight-year-old KWPN gelding Bonheur de la Vie (Bordeaux x Tuschinski).

This year Sandra Nuxoll would like to take off with her horses internationally at Grand Prix level. For this, her home federation Austria expected the Amazon to come to Austria to ride at least 66% in a Grand Prix. Nuxoll is quoted as saying that she believes that one cannot expect a trip from northern Germany to Austria in the current Corona era. This is where opinions differ.

Nuxoll now drew her consequences from the incident. She will ride for Germany in the future. Certainly a bitter blow for the Austrian dressage sport, which is generally not particularly well positioned.
