The German show jumping champion Sophie Hinners will be in the saddle of the Plot Blue son Million Dollar from the beginning of 2022. After he had achieved several international victories and placings under Frank Schuttert in the past season, the bay was back in Elmshorn in the past few months, so that further reserves of frozen semen could be produced.

Frank Schuttert had left the company of his long-term employer Jos Lansink in the fall and as a result Million Dollar had returned to Elmshorn for the first time. "I would like to thank Frank Schuttert and his team for the good work," said Managing Director Norbert Boley. “In 2022, the sporting promotion of the stallion will continue to be the focus. Sophie Hinners is a very talented young rider who will initially take over the rider for a year. “The 24-year-old is currently one of the most successful U25 riders in Germany, was on the five-star level in 2021, was German female show jumping champion and won the Nations Cup in Budapest (HUN) with the German team. The squad rider worked for three years in the Hendrix stable (NED) before she chose the Hofgut Dagobertshausen in Central Hesse as her new sporting home, where her partner Richard Vogel and his business partner David Will also train. The VW Equestrian team operates a second location in Pfungstadt on the Prinzenberg stud. Million Dollar will also move into its box there. "I'm really looking forward to this impressive stallion," says Sophie Hinners. “Even as a young horse I found him extremely interesting and very noticeable. I have already seen him at the show several times with Ebba Johansson as well as with Frank Schuttert and he has experienced a very constant development.” Hinners wanted to take a few weeks to get used to the stallion and then to go to chosen shows in the first quarter strive for. "He is a horse with a lot of quality, so I will take it step by step, hopefully to be able to ride the first higher jumps in the course of the year."
