Isabell Werth Premiers So Unique at 2022 CDN Wuppertal

Isabell Werth has made her show debut aboard the 7-year old Hanoverian So Unique, which sponsor Madeleine Winter-Schulze acquired at Helgstrand Dressage in February 2022.
So Unique is a 2015 born stallion by Sezuan out of Daiquiri (by Donnerhall x Weltmeyer). He is bred by Wilhelm Klausing.

Premium Stallion

The chestnut was named a premium licensed stallion at the 2017 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in Verden, where Helgstrand lifted his hand last at auction on the price of 650,000 euro..
In Denmark the stallion was the high scorer of the 14-day suitability test with a total of 872.5 points. In 2018 he was approved for Oldenburg and in 2019 the Westfalian society followed suit with a breeding permit. In 2019 the Hanoverian society bestowed him with the 2019 Weltmeyer Prize.
So Unique was first trained and competed by Eva Möller. In 2018 she won the Bundeschampionate with him in the 3-year old stallion class. In 2019 he only showed once, at the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, where he won the 4-year old pilot project. At the 2020 Bundeschampionat the pair won the warm-up round, but ended up 10th in the Finals.

Isabell Werth

So Unique disappeared from the show scene for two years. The 2020 Bundeschampionate was his last show until his return last weekend at the 2022 CDN Wuppertal on 2 - 4 September 2022.
Werth went shopping at Helgstrand and ended up securing the training on three new horses: So Unique (bought by Winter-Schulze), Majestic Taongo and Joshua (listed as owned by Werth in partnership with Winter-Schulze on the FEI website).
Werth made a winning show debut in Wuppertal in the S3 test (developing PSG) with a whopping 75.159% from judges Camillo Thomas Hündgen, Bodo Maiwurm, and Rita Luczak. She also placed second with Sissy Max-Theurer's Danish bred Zeffirelli MT (by Zack x Londonderry).
