Horse festival in Redefin will take place
It is great news to hear from the far north of Germany. The horse festival in Redefin may take place. In addition to the traditional show jumping, there will also be a dressage section.
The whole thing is planned from 7 - 9 May 2021.
A realization of such a large tournament is of course also bound to the observance of various hygiene concepts. Disinfection facilities are provided everywhere on the site, coupled with a sophisticated hygiene concept.
According to the currently applicable rules, each of the participants must present a daily negative Corona test. Of course, all participants are willing to comply with the Corona rules to make it possible to hold such a large event in the future.
Unfortunately, spectators are not allowed at the tests.
In addition to a station of the BEMER Riders, the Nürberger Burgpokal is also planned again as a test within the framework of the dressage in Redefin.
The website of Nürnberger- Versicherung states, "We support equestrian athletes on their way to the top, e.g. with the NÜRNBERGER BURG-POKAL. The well-known tournament series for 7- to 9-year-old dressage horses has been the centerpiece of NÜRNBERGER Versicherung's commitment to equestrian sports for almost three decades. The starting lists for the competition read like a Who's Who of international sport: Olympic, World and European champions compete in the arena with their young horses. Numerous pairs sponsored by the NÜRNBERGER BURG-POKAL were successful at national and international level. In total, horses from the show series won 155 medals at national and international championships."
The show jumping competitions are also a Redefin tradition. This year, the show jumping part is not only supported by BEMER as the main sponsor of the Riders Tour, but also by the insurance group Bolz und Lauff. In addition to qualifying for the Riders Tour finals on Sunday, the championship of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern will also be held on Saturday.
Despite that no spectators are allowed on site, there is the possibility to watch the competitions. On the one hand, ClipMyHorse transmits all tests of the weekend. On the other hand, the NDR Sportclub transmits on Saturday, May 8 from 16:00- 16:45 as well as on Sunday, May 9 from 15:00- 16:00.
