(Elmshorn) Originally planned as a hybrid auction, the Holsteiner Winter Chance on December 12 will be held online at the holsteiner.auction portal due to the current Corona developments.

To it managing director and auction manager Roland Metz and its team decided, which selected approximately 35 quality new generation horses for the last Holsteiner auction 2021. "The online auction offers more planning security for our customers and exhibitors," said Metz. "However, the presentation of the auction candidates on December 12, starting at approximately 10 a.m., will take place as planned - namely in compliance with the 2G regulations - in the heated Fritz Thiedemann Hall in front of the public." First, the younger horses show themselves in free running and free jumping, followed by the already ridden offers, which complete a short course and can be tried out afterwards. ClipMyHorse.tv will broadcast live. The auction portal will be opened for the first bids as early as 12 noon on Friday, December 10, and the final bidding will begin at 3 p.m. on Sunday (December 12) with the so-called bid-up.

As usual, the selection includes highly interesting horses for all tastes: The Livello-Newton daughter Livella Blue (catalog number 8), for example, is out of a dam who was successful in show jumping competitions herself and also produced several highly decorated offspring up to 1.45 meter level. The three-year-old descends from the direct dam line of the Olympic champion Dobel's Cento by Capitol I (Otto Becker/GER). Catalog number 20 presents himself as a compact jumper with Coolio by Casall-Clarimo: This stallion of the 2019 crop has a sport-successful dam whose mare family produced, among others, the licensed Calico by Cassini I. The entire collection can be viewed with pedigrees, photo and video material at holsteiner.auction. Roland Metz (phone: +49 171 4364 651, e-mail: rmetz@holsteiner-verband.de) will be happy to answer any questions about the auction and, of course, about the horses themselves.
