Henrik von Eckermann wins Speed Class in Stockholm
Yesterday, Sunday, the last day of the Global Champions Tour stage took place in Stockholm. And it should be again a Swede who should stand on top of the podium: Henrik von Eckermann. Together with his mare Glamour Girl, the newly crowned father was brilliant. With a lead of more than two seconds over the Brazilian rider Marlon Modolo Zanotelli, this meant victory in front of his home crowd. Third place went to Jodie Hall McAteer and Kimosa van het Kritrahof.
Course director Uliano Vezzani created a challenging course over 150cm. Especially the "fabege" combination crystallized as the cause of problems. Of the 34 starters, only 12 made it to the finish line without any faults.
