Heartbreaker is dead
One of the most important KWPN sires of all time has passed away. Heartbreaker passed away at the age of 32.
The bay stallion laid the foundation for the important stallion breeding at Team Nijhof Stud.
But not only as a sire, but also as a sportsman, the KWPN stallion was able to attract attention.
One of his certainly greatest successes is the fourth place in the Grand Prix of Aachen. With his rider Peter Geerink, he placed at five-star level all over the world.
But forever the son of Nimmerdor will be remembered for his offspring.
He now has 111 licensed sons, including the world-famous Toulon, Romanov, Padinus, Action-Breaker and Halifax van't Kluizebos.
His daughters are also world famous. For example, a daughter of his is the mother of the world famous Cornet Obolensky.
Team Nijhof is shocked by the death of the 32-year-old stallion. On their Instagram page, the team announces, "He has a special place in our hearts. Heartbreaker, thank you for everything and for everything you gave to the worldwide breeding!"
