It is surprising news that multi-champion Michael Jung announces last night, April 12, 2021 on his Facebook page.
His partner for years, the mare fischerRocana TSF is to retire and thus possibly become a mother.
Rocana's career of success began early.
As a six-year-old, she became world champion of young eventing horses.
In 2011, she became national champion.
At championships, the mare was considered a "safe bank" by Jung. Again and again she proved her reliability.
Individual silver, 2014 at the World Championships in Caen and 2017 at the European Championships in Strzegom are among her highlights.
But they also won the CCI5*-L competition in Kentucky three times in a row.
Also in Pau she could finish her two starts in the CCI5*-L* competition on the 2nd and 3rd place.
Now the 16-year-old mare is to retire. She spends this together with multi-champion Sam, who is also with Michael Jung. The let it be known that the mare could possibly become a mother next year!
