Carl Hester is considered one of the best dressage riders, dressage trainers and dressage coaches in the world. That he occasionally swaps horses or passes them on to his students is not uncommon. That's what happened at the beginning of April 2021.
Fiona Bigwood, a long-time student of Hester and valued teammate at World and European Championships has again taken a horse from Hester: Hawtins Delicato.

But this is not a sensation. She was already able to take over her championship partner "Othilia" and the former Bundeschampionat finalist "Daytona Platinum" from her trainer.

The fresh pair of Bigwood and Delicato could also already present themselves well at a national show in England. The two were second.
The gelding competed with Hester's former rider and multi-championessCharlotte Dujardin for the first few shows. Then Hester took over the gelding's reins, now turning them over to Bigwood. But those who are now worried about Hester's Olympic participation can rest easy. The twelve-year-old KWPN gelding "En Vogue" could be a potential horse for Carl Hester to take to the Olympics. He has also presented him several times with over 75% in international Grand Prix competitions.
