Escolar fails for Olympic Games

Warendorf (fn-press) After Ingrid Klimke's Franziskus was ruled out due to injury, a second horse from the German dressage Olympic squad is now unfortunately also ruled out for the further selection process for the Olympic Games. Hubertus Schmidt's Escolar, a sought-after stallion and successful Grand Prix horse, will not be able to take part in the second selection tournament in Kronberg (June 24-27) due to injury. Thus, the pair is no longer available as a candidate for the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
