DM Balve: Two silver medalists after result correction

Gold for Ellen Richter and Vinay, silver for Ann-Kathrin Lindner and FBW Sunfire, bronze for Hannah Erbe and Carlos FRH - this was the original result in the Grand Prix Freestyle of the U25 dressage riders at the German Championships in Balve a week ago. Now the attention of the German Equestrian Federation (FN) has been drawn to the fact that an unintentional error occurred in the protocol of the freestyle of Hannah Erbe (Krefeld). The rider will receive the silver medal retroactively, the other results remain unaffected.
The correction of the results has become necessary due to a communication or typing error. The judge at E wanted to give the score 8.0 for the flying changes from jump to jump in the test of Hannah Erbe and Carlos FRH, which was also recorded in the comment column of the protocol. However, the score 7.0 was mistakenly typed in the field that is relevant for the calculation of the overall score. The overall result when awarding an 8.0 for the mentioned lesson is now 77.775 instead of 77.725. The actually shown athletic performance, which in this case corresponds exactly to the performance of the second-placed couple, is now rewarded accordingly and Hannah Erbe retroactively receives the silver medal. The double occupancy of the second place is not at the expense of other participants, as the further ranking remains unchanged.
