That Daniel Deusser has had good experiences with "Cornet horses" is probably undeniable. However, caution is required here. The Cornet described here in the article is not Daniel Deusser's successful horse Cornet d'Amour, but the second Cornet, simply called "Cornet".

But first, let's talk about the career of Cornet.

The gray horse with the brown hair all over his body was born in 2004 to Sabine Sternagel- Boettger. He descends from the famous Cornet Obolensky out of a Caletto dam.

His first competition successes he celebrated with Judith Bachl. Some time later he moved to the stable of the Swede Irma Karlsson. Together with her, the impressive mold could already celebrate great successes. Among other things, he won the gold medal at the 2014 European Championships in Arezzo. But others have also noticed the sheer limitless ability of the gray horse. For example, Martin Fuchs' girlfriend, Paris Ann Sellon, acquired him in 2015. Cornet was also able to show himself a few times under Sellon. But mainly their trainer Laura Kraut sat in the saddle. She has also been able to celebrate great international successes with the gray horse.

In the summer of 2017, Cornet will then join Deusser in the stable of Stefan Center. With him as a rider, the series of successes of the gray horse really started. For example, the Oldenburg rider won the jumping competition at the World Cup tournament in Oslo.

After such successes, he moved to the stable of the world's number 1, Steve Guerdat. Here, however, not the Olympic champion himself took a seat in the saddle, but the 25-year-old Swiss Anthony Bourquard,.

With him Cornet was successful up to 150cm.

Now the Swiss shared on Instagram, "Thank you for everything, Cornet! You were the best teacher I could have asked for! Good luck with your new rider."

His new rider will be Lou Puch. The young Amazon now wants to take off internationally for Switzerland in children's sport.
