Herning/Motesice (fn-press). The dressage riders not only competed in s'Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands, but also attracted international tests to the arena in Herning (Denmark) and Motesice (Slovakia). The best German riders were Helen Langehanenberg (Billerbeck) with the Holsteiner Annabelle and Dorothee Schneider (Framersheim) with the Hanoverian Faustus.

Helen Langehanenberg had decided to start at the World Cup tournament in Motesice, Slovakia. Like three weeks earlier at the CDI-W in Neumünster, her Holsteiner Annabelle was used. The 14-year-old Conteur daughter and her rider first won the short Grand Prix with 70.373 percent and were also the best pair in the World Cup freestyle the next day. The five judges awarded 77.905 percent. Second place went to the Pole Katarzyna Milczarek and the Portuguese stallion Guapo. Langehanenberg and Milczarek were the only two participants in the World Cup in Slovakia.

In Herning (Denmark), where the World Championships in show jumping, dressage, paradressage and vaulting will be held in August, a five-star CDI was on the agenda. In front of a home crowd, the best Danish dressage couples fought for places one to four. Cathrine Dufour won the Grand Prix and the Freestyle with her Westphalian Olympic horse Bohemian (by Bordeaux). The result in the Grand Prix was 82 percent, and in the freestyle the couple surpassed the "magic" 90 percent mark for the first time (90.005). As the best German rider, Dorothee Schneider claimed fifth place. In the saddle of the 14-year-old Hanoverian gelding Faustus v. Falsterbo gave her a score of 80.565 percent in the freestyle and 73.522 percent in the Grand Prix. Lena Waldmann (Werder) and the Oldenburg stallion Fiderdance came in seventh in the freestyle (77.5). The two had achieved 71.848 percent in the Grand Prix, eighth place. hen
